Sleeping Bags for Very Important People

I am having a pair of wonderful grandies staying over tonight - and in a little unit with 1 bedroom and the boss's office, spare beds and bedding are light on.

I found a couple of old blankets, and some fabric from my stash - and now I have two individual sleeping bags for some little boys

Both of these blankets have provenance. The brown one was my mum's - and the blue one came from an uncle. Now they are being used for the fourth generation...

They still have to sleep on the couches though. Some blow up mattresses won't go astray. Must check out freecycle and see what I can get a hold of.

Gorgeous! And I love the history of them.

We used to have some lilos - if I come across them in the garage I will let you know.

We are tidying up to move (maybe) so I am de-cluttering like crazy. Do you need any more cheap gifts for your 50 people? I have a cupboard full of small soaps and hair ties etc that I bought as gifts but never used.

Let me know if you want them.

These are beautiful -- and how wonderful that they will be "hugged" by loved ones from the past.

Thank you again for your quilt advice. I am finishing up my second baby quilt (a gift for a friend) and I felt much more confident in my fabric choices thanks to your advice!
